Punot: Flavors of Modern Iloilo

July 10, 2017

Punot a Hilagaynon term for a fish pen isn’t new to the Ilonggos. In fact, it’s been solidly standing for about 4 years in the food industry and despite the fierce emergent of new restaurants in Iloilo, Punot has proven that with good service and excellent food quality you will remain steadfast.
Originated in Estancia, Punot offers modern Ilonggo dishes focusing on seafood. So, if you’re a seafood lover, this is the resto to go to. But aside from seafoods they are also offering other Ilonggo dishes and favorites like LaPaz Batchoy, turon, KBL and International dishes such as paella negra.

Punot somewhat looks between modern and old school, with its wood interiors,  hand written messages on ceramic plates and framed photographs of celebrities who have dined at the restaurant.
They have an outdoor patio too, that overlooks the Iloilo river / boardwalk so one can take pleasure in riverside dining.
