Coffee Appreciation: BO's Coffee

May 15, 2016

I admit I really am not a plain coffee person whenever I go to coffee shops, I always opted for a Frappe. So whilst everyone prefers black, iced, instant, brewed coffee as their crucial fix, in my case it's always a Frappe.. It is without a doubt that my love for it has led me to search various coffee shops in the urge to try every  kind of Frappes I could lay my eyes on. Even so, it  became my secret obsession.  Whereas my boyfriend on the other hand is the real coffee aficionado. Any coffee will do, It’s really what fuels him up. And me being the finicky one always made sure that every cafe or coffee shops we went to doesn’t only offer good  coffee and food, but also a decent and comfortable place to natter and let the time pass.
However, did you know that coffee making is considered as art?  Coffee making It’s not just about brewing a satisfying coffee, but it’s also about finding the right coffee beans, mastering the right combination of ingredients  and  mastering the right process of making it in order  to come up with a perfect coffee?  I never knew about it until my recent participation at BO's Coffee - Coffee Appreciation.  They recently opened their new branch at the new wing upper ground floor of  SM City Iloilo and just like their branch at Atria the interiors gave a picture of coziness and minimalists.

BO’s coffee also made sure to patronize our very own Philippine made hence partnering with local brands such as the Ant Hill Fabric factory  a local weaver showcasing woven fabrics that helps preserve Philippine Traditions  Bo’s Coffe tapped them for their furniture, baristas uniforms and for their collectibles such as their tumblers and luggage tags. Other partners are  Theo & Philo Artisan Chcolates, Bayani Brew, Nipa Foods and Loud Basstards

BO's also source their coffee beans  from the mountains of Benguet, Sagada, Mt. Kitanglad, Mt. Matumtum and Mt. Apo. Thus creating the best coffee in a cup.
My choice - Matcha Green Tea Froccino :) yumyum

  5. There's a BO's branch near us and I usually buy frappes there. I love their frappes and to compare it with Starbucks, I honestly would prepare Bo's more. :)
