SM CITY ILOILO - FOOD HALL

May 31, 2016

SM City Iloilo Food Hall with its spacious, luxurious interior designs and branded tenants will surely give Ilonggos the best dining experience. Me and my Fellow Iloilo Bloggers and along with SM City Iloilo marketing team have a gastronomic opportunity to taste each food from it's almost 15 tenants that offers not only Filipino food but also international cuisine such as Spanish, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Mexican and Chinese. That day the word "diet" is indefinite.

KOGI & VEGI
Surprisingly delicious these Korean dishes will definitely delight your hungry stomach and taste buds. Below are the two of it's best seller dishes -  the Kove Kimbap which is my personal favorite and the other is the Dolsot Bibimbap.

DON'S CHURROS
Don's Churros brought to Iloilo one of the popular desserts in Spain – The Churro. This fried dough pastry is truly delectable. You can either have them plain with 3 dips of strawberry, chocolate, and  dulce de leche or you may choose the filled churro that is oozing with your favorite filling such as blueberry, chocolate, Bavaria and dulce de leche
DUNGAN KAMAY KAINAN
Have a taste of these Filipino classic cuisine Squid Ala Pobre and Pork Sisig by Dungan Kamay Kainan
ICHIBAN DACO
Ahh first bite of this Japanese Takoyaki and it brought me back to my first ever takoyaki eating experience in Japan. I had my first taste of Takoyaki when I was strolling the streets of Amagasaki. I'm so glad that Ichiban Daco is finally here in Iloilo. They have a variety of Takoyaki to choose from. My favorite is the original takuyaki.
PEPPER LUNCH
I use to hear about Pepper Lunch and how good the food was but I never really bother to check the food out because the last time I was there the line was intolerably long. Boy! I'm happy that I at last had the opportunity to experience a mouthful of it and I must say It's truly delicious! Served sizzling hot I must say it's not for the literal hasty hungry kind of person hahha But I still suggest to try the Beef Pepper Rice and Shimofuri Pepper Steak.
SBARRO
As far as I can remember Sbarro has been my family's favorite Italian Resto. My parents love to dig on their bakes zitti while I'm into their garlic bread and pepperoni pizza. But I think their meat Lasagna and white chicago pizza is will be added to our favorite Sbarro foodies,
LAVA
Mexican Nachos and Quesadilla by Lava will surely make  your "munchie and chattie' moments with friends more fun. They also have other mexican foods such as Burrito, tostadas, soft tacos and many more.
PUB EXPRESS
It's my first time to try Pub express' Rangoons and it instantly became my favorite, this fried molo wrap filled with cream cheese is just tooooo lip-smacking to ignore. And of course you should try their black baby ribs which is the best seller.
SALADS & WRAPS BY HEALTHY KITCHEN
Spell healthy.. It's Honey Balsamic Salad and Wraps. Surely a must try, this salad is oozing with healthy benefits with it's combination of fresh vegetables and  less meat. A perfect choice for the health conscious
HOW FUN
I highly recommend the Buko Pandan Ice Dessert by How fan - A combination of soft Ice cream and well shaved iced, coconut and pandan jellies and also you should try their chinese-style beef steak.
FRUITFUL
If you're into shakes and fruit salad then head over to fruitful and treat yourself with their shakes, fruit salads and juices.
TEPANYAKI BROTHERS
This Jpaanes resto will surely tickle your fancy with their all seafood and all meat dishes. An yes they cook their foods right in front of you.
POTATO CORNER
Ahh, my all time favorite potato fries! I'm so glad that they finally have a new flavor the mayo wasabi! I know wasabi is kinda like off the wall flavor, but believe me you have to try it!
So, next time if you are in SM City don't forget to visit their food hall!
