D.I.Y Knotted Bow Back

June 28, 2013

Last night I was having trouble sleeping again (sigh) so instead of lying in my bed doing nothing I decided to dig my cabinet for clothes I could revamp. Luckily I found this cheetah print top previously owned by my grandmother.

I love the animal print- enough reason for me to adopt it after my grandmother decided to give it away. But it’s a little loose on me so I decided to do a snip and snap at the back and try to turn it from plain boring to fascinating!

HOW TO:

Flip your top over and lay it flat.
Start cutting parallel lines creating strips. I decided to overdo mine by slashing from the top down to the bottom.
Try to stretch your slashed strips and in the middle create a knot making it into a bow.
and that's it! you're done. easy peasy right?

So, Today I decided to show off my cheetah make over top lol
what do you think?

Rise and Shine!!! I honestly love the touch of sunshine on my face.

This is how it looks at the front

and tadaaaa!!

Top: Grandmother's Closet.. and pimp by me
Pants: Jag Thug
Wedge: A Gift
Necklace: Vanita Sorella
